The Dog Training Spot has 25 years of experience working with all dogs, of all sizes and breeds, with their humans in any situation. So whether you are looking for the basic commands with your puppy, interested in some advanced training for your adolescent dog or looking for some guidance for a new rescue, we have customized programs for whatever your needs are. We offer reward-based training one-on-one in-home sessions, board & train options to help you with basic commands or severe behavioral issues and unwanted behaviors and even group classes.

In-Home Basic Training Program – $945.00
(5 In-home Training Sessions: Includes Handouts, Clicker, longline and walking harness)

- Better handling skills
- Learning about thresholds
- Meeting new dogs for the first time
- Waiting under distraction
- Gain focus while under distraction
Group Classes – $250/4 weeks
(limited winter season scheduling)
Includes handouts, Clicker, longline and walking harness
- Come to class ready to mingle
- Socialization for both you and your dog
- Better handling skills
- Group walks in public areas
- Working dog under distractions
- Waiting at corners
- Learning the L.A.T. (watch cue)
- Classes 1 day each week
Behavior Modification Board and Train – $2800.00
3 week Immersive Board and Train program (Your dog comes home to you on the weekends with homework)

Unfortunately, there are times when sit and stay aren’t going to be enough for the issues you are having with your dog. It can be a difficult place for a pet parent when you don’t know what you are doing wrong, or even if it’s something you are doing at all to have behaviors that you just don’t understand. This can be very frustrating and we have the knowledge and solutions to help you. We recommend scheduling a phone consultation with one of our behavioral consultants to discuss which are the best options for you.

Emotional Support Animal Training Program – $3,500.00
Do you suffer from physical or psychological impairments? Do you need your dog to learn how to complete tasks to help you around the house or in public? Then our ESA Training Program is right for you. We work with your ESA to learn how to support you and your individual needs. This service is only available for dogs that qualify and through our board and train services for 1 month or more. Not offered for in-home training sessions.
