Puppies should be at least four to five months old before beginning training.
For other, more serious concerns, we offer a three-week Behavior Modification Board & Train Program for $2800. With our Behavior Modification Board & Train Program, we board the dog for three weeks and focus on your top three areas of concern.
Now offering an ESA Board and Train Program. Our four-week Emotional Support Animal Board and Train Program is a good fit for you and your new ESA. Do you suffer from physical or psychological impairments? Do you need your dog to learn how to complete tasks to help you around the house or in public? Then our ESA board and train program is right for you. We work with your ESA to learn how to support you and your individual needs. The ESA Board and Train Program is four weeks for $3,588.
Potty Training
Our potty training comes with or without bell alerting. We can help reduce stress around potty training by teaching your dog a clear way to communicate their needs. Whether you decide to train with the potty training bell or not, your dog will learn skills to communicate in a way that is not stressful or disruptive.
Leash Manners
If your dog struggles with walking on a leash in a way that is comfortable, you’re not alone. We work with dogs to teach them leash manners so that you and your dog can love walking together again. It is important to understand that dogs have a couple of different ways of walking. We teach your dog how to walk for you and we provide you with the knowledge you need to work with your dog and their needs.
Listening Skills
Many dogs are overstimulated and overwhelmed at home. We teach your dog listening skills to help them maintain focus. You’ll both learn specific commands and cues. Dogs need to understand what we want from them. We’ll teach you and your dog verbal and non-verbal commands so that you both get back to cohabitating peacefully. You can have more control over your dog in a way that is not damaging to their spirit.
Self-Regulation
Have you ever left something out on the counter for just a minute, only to return to your pup chowing down on something they’re not supposed to eat? It is difficult for animals of all kinds to self-regulate. Fortunately, dogs can be trained to have self-regulation. We work with your dog to help them learn that rewards come from you, not just from their environment. Dogs will learn to regulate themselves, even when tempted by external forces.
Jumping
Jumping is a behavior that occurs frequently when dogs are fearful, anxious, or aroused by changes in the environment. Through self-regulation and listening skills, your dog will learn there are better ways to handle environmental distractions. We teach you and your pup proper verbal and non-verbal cues to mitigate jumping when it occurs.
